Contingency Days Summer 2024
The exam boards have designated the afternoons of Thursday 06 June and Thursday 13 June as ‘contingency afternoons’ and Wednesday 26 June 2024 as the ‘contingency day’ for examinations.
The designation of ‘contingency days’ within the examination timetable is in the event of national or significant local disruption to examinations in the United Kingdom. It is part of the awarding bodies’ standard contingency planning for examinations.
All candidates must remain available for exams until Wednesday 26 June 2024 in case of the need to move an exam to one of these contingency dates.
