Catering Assistant

The Role

We are looking to recruit a part time Catering Assistant at Heath Lane Academy. The post will be for 20 hours per week, fixed term until August 2022.

As directed, prepare, and cook food items and assist in the care and cleaning of the kitchen and catering equipment, in accordance with the Academy’s standards. Create and maintain good working relationships with suppliers, visitors, and other catering staff within the MAT.

Experience

Knowledge of the importance of good dietary habits in young people and the need to encourage good food choices. Experience of working within a school setting and the ability to interact and relate to young people.
