There have been two pupils who have received a positive Covid-19 asymptomatic test result. We are awaiting the results of a confirmatory PCR test.
The school have identified close contacts within Year 11 and have sent them home to self-isolate in accordance with government guidance.
The Year 11 students were last in school on Friday 16th April and we have completed an assessment today taking advice from the Department for Education and Public Health England. As a result of this assessment, 30 students have been contacted and asked to self-isolate for 10 days in line with the national guidance.
